Lol, I don't see why you would need more than one unless polar bears stalk your neighborhood.

If that was the case, forget a leatherman, I'd just carry a sword to class everyday.

Hey Fonly...

Personally I don't know how you brought yuorself to send your knives ahead....

I couldn't have done it...

They would have traveled with me for sure, well at least the most valuable ones anyway...

I understand Exactly what you mean when you said "children".. I feel the same way about them..

If I go away for more than 3 days,, the knives get packed up into Rubbermaid containers and get stored somewhere safe..In case of fire, theft ect..

Well, it came down to two options for me, I could wait and make the truck dome this far north again, and take a few more things, a computer table, another bed, cabneit, and my30lbs of knives Laughing
Or, send then now, and save a little over a grand when we drive back. Unfortunatly, I had to send them, I wish I kept my #4 and revolver though, I miss them. And, im having a hell of a time getting an edge on my amster hunter, I understand it being compared to 0176-c, but man, I can get my bk7 really sharp, but not the same for the master hunter.

Hey Fonly....

Yaa I hear you..I guess you have your reasons....

Are you saying you can't get your Master Hunter sharp ??

Have you ever tried a Spyderco Sharpmaker ??

I recently got one and it's simply wicked to sharpen knives...
Very simply to use,,and puts on one heck of an edge...

Well, usually I can get a good shaving edge from a stone on my BK7, #4, Revolver, 192, 110 you know. Usually I then finish with some 600, then 1200 grip paper. With the master hunter, I dont know if its that theres a burr and its not coming off, of what, it gets scraping hair sharp, but not what I want. Rolling Eyes Laughing
