Would this or this work well for a PSK?
I haven't really had a "PSK" before, I always had everything in my pack or in my pockets Confused

You know they work great, but you'll have to buy them off the net. I sugest if you have a home hard ware, or canadian tire, heck I think a pharmacy has them, get a Camera case. Or look for small pouchs about 2"-3" deep, 6" high and 3"-4" wide.

Heres mine.

The reason I like the camera case is because thats what people think it is, a camera, it doesnt draw attention to me.

Looks good, I'd say a signal mirror, and a whistle. Then, a small compass and some sand paper(1000 grit) for sharpening that sak. Also, this is just a personal preferance, but I wouldn't keep that large folder, trade it for a whistle or something, you'll only need the sak.

Looks good either way, great start. Very Happy

A stone is even better Laughing
The way you can get around the folder is, if you carry a fixed on your belt why worry about it? if not, then I can understand.

Good work though, I wasn't meaning to sound nick picky' or anything. Very Happy

I always have a pocket knife or my Wave in my pocket. I guess if I loose my pants than I probably lost my pouch too Laughing

Water purification tablets are small and effective

Or you can get a big chlorine tablet for cleaning pools. Just use your blade and scrape off a small amount and smell it until you get it to the right amount. Just one or 2 scrapes off the top of the tablet should work. This way you have something the size of a chocolate mint that will purify 100 gallons of water.
