I don't carry anything. I want to though. I live in the city know for it's crime. Sad If I carried around a knife people would think I was serching to hurt someone. My school won't even allow finger nail clippers! Shocked

yeah well here we have to wear a belt... and tuck in our shirts. but my problem is forgetting it. I have the worst memory ever. I do carry a little pocket knife every now and then (loss it every now and then) but very rarely. people get suspicious though.

Thats very true, and I can rerpect that.

If you drive a car, another thing to have some peace of mind is to have a small kit in the trunk, or under the passenger seat. I keep a large firstaid kit, with a gerber gator, gator axe (tiny one) some rope, shake flashlight and some wire, also a very extra lights ( blinker, brake lights)

This way, its out of the way and still in your reach should you need them. I keep my kit in the dash, as my girlfriend drives to work late nights, and I wanted her to be able to get at it should anything happen.

Also, just to give you an example. One night we went for a drive and my gf was having trouble turning, when it did, it would make a god awful noise as well. Of course many things were running through my mind, so we got to her work place (she needed to fill out some papers) I got out the kit, and started looking around with the flash light. What I found was a massive ice build up inbehind the two front tires. So, I got the hatchet out and chipped it away Laughing

Those are the things that the kit is most usful for, usually your not going to have a fight to the death with some roiters because the world is ending Laughing its a simple mundain task that is done easier with the tools you have.

that is very important. it's good to have something that is within reach and protects you. a kit can be useful too. and the best thing is there is no way to forget this stuff couse you arn't carrying it everywhere you go.
