Well I bet there are buy none that I subscribe to.
However that gives me an idea. Sice writing a book takes a while I think Les should ahve a short magazine that has surival tips, gear talk etc. Pretty much things we talk about on thsi forum he just says they work or are good.

Do a search for survival magazines. There are some available online only and in print. You should find something you like.

For Canadians, nothing beats Explore magazine. A few months ago they featured Les on the cover, and it's officially endorsed by both Les and MEC so it gets my vote. Good magazine on its own merits as well. They've got their share of ads and endorsments for high-tech expensive resort getaways or guided tours, but much of it is stories and accounts of wilderness survival or rough travel.
