I just got the best idea ever. (Read this TrooperMax) |

We need a Survivorman Soundtrack! I'd totally buy it! I love the music in survivorman, and I'm sure everyone else does too. So I say you Tel (Hah, get it?) Les about this.

Hehe, thats a cool idea. You know Les does all the original music for the show himself? Sounds like its mostly just variations on the theme though, not a heck of a lot of different sounds. Maybe he could do an extended harmonica solo?
While I'm thinking about it, I saw a thread elsewhere that asked if the theme music should change for season two. It might be cool, since its a more global season, to use some of the local cultural music for a different theme on each episode. Same basic theme song, but done with cultural instruments or a local traditional "feel". That would make a good soundtrack.

Les actually only did the main theme for the first season of Survivorman if I remember correctly. Anybody beg to differ? I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere.

How about a playlist?
Thinking of the first song in the playlist.
AMERICA - HORSE WITH NO NAME
"on the first part of the journey I was looking at a river bed, and the story it told of a river that flowed made me sad to think it was dead"
I think I have the lyrics wrong, but I think everyone gets the idea.
What other songs are out there for a playlist?
