Hi all. New here. I hunt, fish, hike and camp. From Saint John NB but live and work in Halifax area. Got into ultralight hiking back in 2000 while living in Victoria and that naturally led to a skills focused approach that encompasses survival skills. I then got into making/modifying my own gear. Snooped around on this forum for a bit and liked what I saw, or rather what I didn't see: TEOTWAWKI scenarios etc. I prefer realism to fantasy.
Look forward to learning and exchanging knowledge and skills with you.

Well Yeoman, welcome to our band of merry men! (sorry, couldn't help myself with the Robin Hood reference )
But yeah, welcome. Make yourself right at home.
Don't be afraid to post your opinion or ask questions about something we've said.
Again, glad to have you!
