i wear underarmor when i grapple. I have a heavyweight gi (14 oz) which causes you to get extremely hot when fighting. With the underarmor shirt on under it i am cold if i don't keep moving after a grapling match. I love their gear! They have both cold and hot clothing... to keep you warm in cold or cool in the heat! i wear them running in the summer.

It is great. As long as you aren't a firefighter, and forget that you are wearing it (it has happened, OUCH!) it is some good stuff. The summer gear will keep you cool, the winter gear will keep you warm. Kind of pricey, but worth it.

I found it on Bass Pro Shops site:
http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=55170&hvarDept=600&hvarEvent=&hvarClassCode=5&hvarSubCode=9&hvarTarget=browse
It sounds like just the thing for me when I'm hiking.

Here's a similar product that sounds good:

Has anyone tried their stuff? They even have flame resistant shirts, something we should keep in mind when practicing fire lighting techniques. Laughing

Some of you may remember this, but what ever. It's great gear, just be carful when you wear it as said above. I used some of it on an elk hunt a couple years ago. I was filming the hunt, and two guys were calling for the shooter. We had been hiking for some time, and then after a blown stalk we sat down. It was getting late, and man, I was freezeing! I rolled up my long sleeve shirt, and my skin was getting blotchy. Comparing it to the other three guys it was really bad. I was shaking, and could not warm up. Then I remembered the UA I had on as a base layer. I took it off and put the rest of my clothes back on, and felt warmer right away. I honestly believe that it was pulling the heat out of me, and bringing my core temp down with it. This stuff was the original gear, and was bought long before they had their heat gear and cold gear lines. I bought some of the cold gear and wore that on my turkey hunt earlier this month in New Mexico/Arizona and it worked great. One morning we woke up to 21 degree weather plus wind chill that I don't know but I was nice and warm! Make sure you don't the two confused! Shocked

Yeah, but like I said this stuff was bought way before they had the two different lines available. A local shop was going out of business and were selling the shirts for $15, I stocked up on as many as I could. Laughing
