Clothing:

Fleece Jacket
Denim Jeans
New Balance Walking Shoes
Black Graphic Tee
Batman Briefs
Ankle Socks

Luxuries:

Wrist watch
High-quality Shades
12 oz bottle of Water
Chap stick
6 inch Pocket Knife

Situation:

You and a few friends were playing in the flat, open plains of Nebraska in the dusk of what will be one of the worst wintry nights of the year. You find yourself lost, perhaps miles from your home, and none of your friends in sight. You cannot help but stay put in fear of walking in the wrong direction, so you stay put in the middle of no-where surrounded by dirt and tiny plants. You have decided to stay the night and realize this will be one of the worst nights in your life, but understand that by some chance your friends made it back home and have alerted the Police of your absence possibly issuing help in search of you tomorrow.

With little of nothing to protect you from tonights horrid shortcomings, what do you do to keep yourself warm and alive?

My thoughts:

Without the possibility of burrowing into the dirt, I reside quickly that I can do nothing but sit try to use the resources I have at the best of my ability. I first unzip my Fleece Jacket and Graphic Tee. After pulling out my knife and cutting the sides of my shirt to make some sort of headband to maximize the heat from my heat, my shirt is now put to better use and the Fleece returns to the rest of my upper body.

I then keep the warm close to my chest to prevent it from freezing and every three or four hours I drink several small sips of it to ensure my survival. The winter breeze is coming in and snow flakes are now falling. My only hope is to stay flat on my stomach crunched up and minimize the exposure of my body during this blizzard.

The next day....?

Please provide me with any feedback, recommendations on what I did right - how to improve on that, and/or comment of what I did right. It would be in my best interests if you sort of role-played how you react with just an hour before dark and with the limited amount of resources available.

How would you survive without shelter?

without a shelter i'd make good fire near any natural shelter. No fire starting material? make a fire bow (use your laces). that way you don't worry about the heat. Mind you, i don't know what types of fire materials would be available in your specific location.
