Snowshoes and Solitude |
|
Hey everyone, What did you think of "Snowshoes and Solitude"? Is it worth the money? Judging by survivorman I am sure it is.
Has anyone on this fourm ever lived primitive in the wilderness like Les and his wife did? If every thing works out as I plan I will live primitive in the wilderness as soon as I get out of school. I have studied and practiced survival and native ways for about a third of my life(I am 16). I still got some learning to do but I think I could do it. The thing that attracts me to native ways in the complete dependence from all other people. I hope it all works out. If any of you lived primitive I would like to here yourstories.

hey welcome to the forum first of all, i'm glad to see such enthusiasm coming from another survivorman fan!
I own the movie and I gotta say it is worth the money. It really cool how Les lived with his wife for a year and I would recomend watching it. You also learn more about Les and the kind of person he is and his love for the wilderness.

When is this going to be released on DVD? I'm waiting for that, I REALLY want to see this film, it's a holy grail to me.
And if you plan on "living in the primitive wilderness" once you're out of school, I suggest getting alot of practice, it's a hell of alot harder to do than you may think reading about it. I learned that first hand.
