Bump! Wink

Just wanted to add that I bought one a long time ago and love it! I snuck it into work a couple times to listen to ball game (on the TV channels) and even took it camping to do the same. I love this little radio, and it now lives in my truck kit. Totally worth the money IMO.

I'll get some picks & post them here. Cool
Im quoteing myself because that radio i ordered was crap !.
im glad i didn't spend to much on it. Its just cheap & flimsy.
Ive been looking at the one Troop showed & some others, im now willing to spend about $ 70 to 90 for a good one.

See Dave i've often went for the cheap stuff but recently changed my mind (about last 2-3 years).

Buy the good one and have it work, or buy the cheap one and replace it all the time, sooner or later the prices even out. Thats not always the case, things are overpriced sometimes but if you reasearch the product you will know.

Wow this topic was made before Chrismas last year, my dad still uses that radio, works great, i'm gladI bought it for him. man i'm getting so excited for the christmas/holiday season

I recently bought a very cheap crank fm scanner/light that was on sale at Home Hardware, intending to just keep it in a drawer in case of power failures. In 2 places on the box it said "No batteries, ever." In the instructions, though, it says that when you crank it, you are charging 2 batteries. And when they reach the end of their life, they cannot be replaced. Evil or Very Mad I returned it.

Most of the "no batteries" flashlights are crap. Rolling Eyes

With the exception of a good quality crank radio/flashlight. Cool
