I love canoes and own a 17 alumacraft, love to float rivers and camp am really interested in purchasing a kayak though it really caught my eye

I know canoe's and kayaks looks like fun but I am afraid I cant paddle that well Sad

paddling a kayak is no big deal. It's really easy, not like rowing a boat. Cool

Last time I was in a canoe was at night... and then a storm came rolling in. I don't think I've ever paddled across the lake at my cabin so fast Laughing

My son & I took Lexi out to the woods today for a little scavenger hunt.
I left her about a dozen clues in the woods to help her find the treasure & she got to use her new Opinel # 8 too.









Had a great time before the storm hit us.

Edited to say that I'm a dummy & put this in the WRONG THREAD!!!

oh she looks like she had a great time. sounds like fun. yeah she looked comfortable with the knife. Very Happy

Yeah...she loves her knife. She has a SAK Camper too & I'm teaching her to sharpen them.
Still need to keep an eye on her when she's using it,although Josh (that's him in the pics) is doing a good job teaching her.
Lexi is his stepdaughter & she makes me take her to the woods whenever they pay us a visit.
