Here are my Mountainering Boot's.
They have cool Brass bearing rollers for really easy lace up & tightening.

i've put about 10 hours of hunting time into my boots so far and i'm Extremely pleased with them. My feet stay warm/dry/comfortable and they aren't as heavy as i thought they would be.

These are my boot for Fire/EMS, but they make wonderful hiking boots:
Steel toe and shank, water and blood-proof, and zipper equipped.
But I need to get some separate boots so I don't keep scuffing up my duty boots. These things are two expensive to be marched through the mud like I do to them.

every year my dad got a new pair of boots from work (nova scotia power) and they let him take his old ones home. I used to wear these untill i got the rocky boots. They were black leather, steel toed, and waterproof. I had these on when i fell in a brook a few weeks ago and my feet were the only things that were both underwater and dry... my pants on the otherhand were soak'd!

Most of the time, I am out with Merrell light hikers (well, at least in Spring, Summer, and Fall). In winter, I usually swith to an old pair of Sorels I have...

Well i'm not sure of the Rocky's are designed for winter snow, but I used them in our 1 time snowfall. They held up great, no water, no cold, all great and no numb toes

I got some new boots
These I have to give credit to my father, he found them on ebay. he bought a couple of pairs. They are called Prospector, really good quality. They are ment for wet areas, waterproof babys.
Got them at a good deal too.

Here are my new boots, they're Dunham Premier Waffle stomper boots.
These look really nice. I can't even bend the sole they are really stiff.
These look really nice and have a lot of nice little features that most boots overlook.

That's why they call them Waffle Stompers.

I've never had any real hiking boots.
