They said the only rain would be to the south and west of here. So before supper I did a lot of watering. It started raining right afterwards and it doesn't look like it will stop this evening.

Ive been seeing the weather out that way Bush, cant believe its so " Fall like " ?....
Today here is sunny & hot, 28 C & a nice breeze.
In a small town about 4 hours from here, North/East it hit 37 C ! ... Lytton is the name of the town.

I feel sorry for you Steven. It's been cool here today with a steady rain all night and all day. It's stopped raining for the moment, but thunderstorms are coming this evening. You'd like it, Steven.

All weekend it has been nice and sunny. 
For brief periods between the torrential downpours and thunderstorms.
Every time I've wanted to go somewhere outside (The huge Beaches Jazz Festival is this weekend), I've looked at the forecast, looked at the sky, and said hmmm, better not head out. And staying in has invariably been the right move.
