 | | | | You must have missed the commentary where he told that his trap didn't catch anything, but that a pig was left for him to show how to deal with it (or get his balls chomped off. ). |
I find it hard to give him my full attention. |
Yeah, same here.

A couple of nights ago "Man vs Wild" did a behind the scenes episode in which they revealed how the show is made. Out of morbid curiosity, I watched.
So what did I learn? Well:
Bear travels with a camera man, a sound man, and a rope man. The job of the latter is to lower the other 2 guys (and himself) down cliffs in a much safer manner than Bear descends them.
The crew finds swamps scary, raging rivers dangerous, and diving in caves scary & dangerous.
And that's about it.
Yup.
It relied heavily on clips from the series, and stuff that got edited out because it just repeated the stuff that made the cut.
The only time I got excited was when Bear stated that he prefers to get out of survival situations by working with nature rathern than against nature. I almost screamed at the tv "You moron! You're always fighting nature! The title of your show is even Man VS Wild!"
When will I learn.
