 Put Les on Canada's Walk of Fame! |

Canada has a Walk of Fame. Members of it are recognized with a brass star, their name, etc., set into the sidewalk of King St. W. in Toronto. They are currently accepting nominees for 2009. Nominate someone and you could win a trip to Toronto to hobnob with the inductees. Let's get Les on the Walk of Fame!  Go to the site below before the end of April and nominate him. All Canadians are eligible to submit a nomination. Les meets the list of requirements on the site. Give some thought as to the part where you explain why you are nominating him, and let's see if we can convince the jury.

Well, Les isn't on Canada's Walk of Fame. Not this year, anyways. Maybe in the future. Here are the 2009 inductees, if you are interested:

Here's what the stars look like. They are about 18" square. Jacques Villeneuve had the very first star. He is so far Canada's only F1 World Driving Champion, and only Indy 500 winner.
