Hi All
my team has been bugging me for some time to get involved heavily with this and keep the updates coming - so here it is - my very first ever facebook entry - this is official - anything else in my name hasnt been me - and to prove it i am going to include a video soon. have patience with me folks - i am all over the world these days and its tough to keep up on this so i wont likely be able to answer many questions. But i will try hard to put in a lot of videos. The best is: make sure you stay tuned for my new VIDEO BLOG to come soon - all the behind the scenes of everything i have going on in this life of adventure. You can thank Andrew and Ryan for pushing me hard to keep this up!
for the last week I have been diving with Reef/Lemon and Tiger sharks for Discovery's Shark Week show called Deadly Waters! was very cool - but i took two good shark bites - i was wearing chain mail suit - but the second bite cut through - should have a little scar out of that one! - i basically jumped out of a helicopter into a boiling school of sharks!..
there's a small story/quote of mine in this months Outside mag on page 102
and a Spot in the same mag offering an autographed unit contest
at the moment I am in Miami at the airport on my way back to Toronto - one day home and then I have a Pheonix/Vegas/LA/Houston trip
I will be in Vegas doing a keynote for IPC and then appearing and playing at the Pocket Full of Soul harmonica concert in Houston - see you there!!

and yes - this is my very first ever - i mean ever - (meaning anything else you've ever seen in my name wasn't me) (and my staff always said when it was them) note to Facebook
but andrew and ryan and the gang at my office wanted me to let you all know that this facebook page you are on is the official Les Stroud page
I'm new to this so bare with me - i wont be able to answer all the questions - but i will check in as much as i can while I am out on adventures filming or performing or whatever
I am in the Bahamas at the moment shooting for Discovery Channel Shark Week
if it works I will try sending a video as well so you know for sure it's me - but I might not get that done until the 29th as I have to go jump on the boat in a minute

He also shows off His new cut he got while out with the sharks last week.
