Season 3 Airing in Canada |
|
In the third season of Survivorman, Stroud travels the world and sets up real-world scenarios in which he must survive. This year Stroud finds himself in: the frigid Arctic tundra where he finds a clever way to start a fire; Temagami in Canada where SAR (Search and Rescue) is deployed to find Stroud; the unforgiving Australian Outback where temperatures can fluctuate drastically and water is sparse; Papua New Guinea, one of the world’s least explored countries, where undiscovered plant and animal species are thought to exist; rugged Sierra Nevada as a lost hiker; and Colorado where he has to find food and water for himself and his horses.
CES Sony: the Secret to My Survival featuring Les Stroud, creator of Survivorman™
Les will be a featured speaker at the CES show on January 9th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sony booth (Central 14200) talking about how he uses Sony software and camera equipment in the production of Survivorman and will also provide tips and tricks for those wanting to simply edit a memorable family outing.
Breakfast Television Les will appear on Breakfast Television on CityTV Toronto Monday, January 12th. Check your local listings for more info.

Two and a half weeks after it finishes in the US. Ridiculous.

He will, I doubt he will have it out until it has aired in Canada though.

^Probably not.
But yeah, my Season 2 DVD has lots of extra footage that isn't in the original aired episode. I noticed that the episodes on DVD last just as long as the ones on tv do. One hour. But the DVD doesn't have commercials. That means extra stuff.
