 | | I really think all this survival stuff and hard work has made Les age faster than normal sadly. I watched Snowshoes and Solitude for the first time today and I remarked to myself how young he looked, while his wife looks about the same as she does in Off the Grid. I think thats part of the reason he isn't going to do the survivorman show anymore and will do something less strenuous. |
I don't think the survival part was what aged him the most, I think it was the strenuous fact that he had to carry the camera gear always and film everything. Plus always being in different locations and having to change tactics because what works in one area doesn't work in another. In Snowshoes and Solitude, they know the area pretty well and survival there would be less strain on them because of it. Definitely filming, but I am glad he sacrificed so much time and energy to bring us the show, it really shows what kind of person he is.

Haha, thats kinda of funny I must say. He aged because he's in his 40's. Same thing happened to my dad, its just time. S&S was 1994, its 2009, thats 15 years! Thats a lot of time.
