 Grasshopper Tacos |
 |
1/2 lb - Grasshoppers
2 - cloves garlic, minced
1 - Lemon
Salt
2 - ripe avocados, mashed
6 - tortillas { corn or flour }
> Roast medium sized grasshoppers for 10 minutes in 350 degree oven.
Toss with garlic, juice from 1 lemon, & salt to taste.
Spread mashed avocados on tortilla. Sprinkle on grasshoppers to taste

I'm not too much of a grasshopper man because they taste like shrimp, and I don't like shrimp.

Well ive had chocolate coverd Grasshoppers, & they tasted nothing like avocados ?.
I think everyones taste buds are differant, i can try a good Wine & have my buddy try it and say, Hmm, well ?... its this & that, but not to bad. So , i would suggest, try it first then make a judgement

Avocados were in the recipe. She's using her dislike of avocados as an excuse to not eat the grasshoppers.

I like shrimp and I don't mind avacado. I've thought of trying grasshoppers, but it will be a few months before I see any around these parts.

Has anyone else ate grasshopper? I want to know if I'm not the only one who thinks they taste like shrimp.
