I originally posted the links to these videos in the "Weather" thread, and am moving them here to have all my videos together in one thread. These are of a storm we had a couple of weeks ago. Each are about 1 minute long.

This first one shows the wind and rain, and some lightning. This was tame compared to just a few kilometers away where several tornados touched down and destoyed houses.

This next one shows more lightning, including one bolt that struck so close it was blindingly bright and deafeningly loud. There is even an loud SNAP that I think is one neighbour's phone line and another neighbour's internet cable being zapped.

Wow! That was some storm! Shocked

Fortunately for us, we've had a pretty mild severe weather season. No major hurricanes, few tornados, and some not-too-bad thunderstorms.

Yesterday I went to Buskerfest. It's been held for 10 years, but this was my first time. Embarassed

Some streets are closed down for the largest busker festival in North America. They have the best jugglers, sword swallowers, and other such acts from around the world.

One that defies description is the Circus Orange tricycle. It is a huge contraption that is driven along the street, barely clearing power lines and tree branches. In this video you can see the big front wheel on the right, and the steering wheel up top. At the back is a big smokestack that belches fire, It also emits a lot of smoke and bubbles. It's quite a sight, but it's when it's parked that things get truly weird. Hey, we know how to party here in TO.
