Season 3 Episode 2 Colorado Rockies Talk *SPOILERS!* |
|
Anyone see this yet? Very unique episode compared to the others he had in terms of transport. I personally didnt actually like it that much until about 35 mins. I found nothing happened in the entire episode until he caught the fish. The fish thing was cool I liked that, but other than that I think this was my least favorite episode of all time.
However the flashlight thing was pretty inovative too.
What did you guys think?

I did enjoy the flashlight trick, very creative and simple. I guess that is an advantage to having incandescent versus LED lightbulbs. Other than that and the fishing, it was kinda laxed. I feel that what he did was right as for what his scenario was, but he could have shown some more tips or tricks, not so much having to do with including horses. I think if he took a few minutes aside for survival that pertained to the area and not so much his scenario, it would have made it better.

I enjoyed it, mearly because its somthing good on TV for a change I didn't think he showed enough survival though.

I enjoyed the flashlight firestarting technique, but that was about it. Sure he caught a few fish, but he had a fishing rod so it wasn't like it was anything out of the ordinary (seeing how that is the general purpose of a fishing rod)... He did mention that EVERYONE takes one with them, so I can see how the average person who gets lost there would have access to one, but still. Even in the previous episode he left all that gear behind and went with minimal supplies. I agree with max saying that this is my least favorite episode, but it still was nice to see anew one. Also i'm not the biggest fan of horses (one of my wierd fears...) so that provides a bias anyway.

I agree with Daffy. I like that fact its something new, but I didnt like the horse thing because it focused on them rather than him/surival. I know its a differnt scenario but still I guess I like the oldschool type episodes.
I cant wait to see the next arctic one.

I actually tried that flash light thing before, but I didn't get it to work.

Agreed on pretty much all points.

I think we are seeing a glimpse of Les on holiday in this episode. Still enjoyable.
