Just made a couple little carving knives from old hacksaw blade one is just a plain blade with saw on back the other is my rendition of a crooked knife let me know what you think or show me yours I need more ideas winters almost here . These blades were softened first formed and then hardened again fully and then put oak handles on them .

[/img] and please tell me why my pics come out so large lol?????

How did you put the handles on?

Good job. These are a must to have IMO on you when out in the bush.
You can make/carve, spoons, bowls they are very handy. Ive seen them done like this in a larger scale.
A bandsaw blade was used, they work good as well. Cool

The blade is inserted through a hole I used a dremmel tool to make just big enough for the blade to slide in. They go more then half way into the handle, I hardened them before doing the final sharpening then inserted them into the slots and packed them with sawdust left over mixed with Gorilla glue( the wood is oak ) have found this to be a quite strong bond and have yet to have one come loose.
