Here's one I just wrote. I'm not the best writer, but it was fun. Cool

The Peaceful War

The two cities of Sarjia and Takun had just waged war upon each other. One day messengers from Sarjia came for their payment, but Takun refused to pay. Takun has made it clear they were a peaceful state. All these years Sarjia used that to their advantage, and got virtually anything they wanted from Takun. Three days later Sarjian troops came to Takun. The soldiers stormed Takun sweeping from house to house, but house after house was empty. There were no people, and no possessions. They figure they got scared and fled. They decided to guard and occupy the city in case they decided to return.

Serjia had a surprise coming to them soon. What they didn’t know is that Takun had been constructing an underground city for years. Only now has it been completed, and everyone ready for action. Later into the night Takun was ready to surface. They silently abducted the soldiers that were sleeping and put them in their underground jail. Next every man, and woman arose, and ambushed the patrolling soldiers. All that was left was to do was send a messenger to Serjia.

When the leaders heard the news they wend berserk, but they knew they could do nothing. So in the end Takun got all the money back they ever paid Serjia, and half of Serjia’s riches. Serjia got all their soldiers back in return. I would say things worked out well considering their were no casualties. As for now Serjia and Takun are at peace, but who knows what may be looming on the horizon.

Great little story. If you put tons more detail in it it could be a full blown book Razz

Neat story, Mystik. Cool

I've never written any short stories. Sad

Yeah I'm not good with details. Laughing

I think mine would be considered a short-short. Yes that's a real type of story. I took creative writing one year in high school, and we mainly wrote shorts, or short-shorts. Cool

I can't write short stories...I end up just going off in left field and 100 pages later...and usually that's just one part of the story, never mind the beginning, climax and end.

I was up until one in the morning last night thinking of that ghost story though. Literally was just lying in bed with my eyes open staring at the ceiling thinking of things for it; plot lines, characters (I really need to think of names here), lots of other stuff I don't want to give away. I need to get a notebook to keep by the bed again.

^ Well Steph.
If you wanted to write something of a story like, you could just start another thread, give it a name & write as much or as little as you like.
If it's 2 pages long ? thats alright Smile
