Dont know if this will fly, but i really enjoy the old cars alot.
My first car was a 1969 Plymouth Sport Fury Cool 2 door, blue ext, black int, buckets and console.
383 Big block engine. Cool I also had a 1973 Road Runner, 318 4 spd, dual exhaust. It was the last year for any kind of muscle car.
Yes i was a MOPAR guy. I still am. So post any kind of classic car you like or remember. Maybe your Dad or grandpa ? had something cool.
Every year i go to the Show & Shine check out all the Hod Rods. So post away. Its not just a guy thread ! girls, get in here and giver. Cool
The reason i put it in here is because there may be some video someone may have etc.

This is my first car. It is exactly the same, except mine was blue. I was 17 years old and paid $ 300.00
And that was 2 weeks pay ! lol. Crazy how times change. I make that in 2 days now, lol.

Here are some pics I took at a cruise 2 years ago:

Corvair (Not sure of the year) Those red benches on the right are park benches; they're not from the car!

1966 Chevy Impala. If it was white. had a 6 cylinder, and was badged as a Biscayne, it would be just like my first car.

1947 Cadillac. A real gangster car.

1976 Chevy SS (left) and 1966 Dodge Charger (right)

"Shaker" hood on a 1971 Plymouth 'Cuda, with 1957 Chevy in background

Quick: who can tell me what this is? Bonus points for suggesting survival uses for it.

Correct part. I bet someone can identify the make, model, and approximate year. Good survival use, too. It could also be used for a shelter, or a heat defector behind a fire.

I'll guess Corvette, but since I'm not good with cars, I am most likely wrong. Smile

You're not wrong Flash. The hood is from a 1967 Corvette. The crossed flags logo is visible near the front (pointy) end of the bulge, and the seams around the hideaway headlights can be seen in the lower corners of the photo.
I'd love to have one, but I'll never be able to afford one unless I win the lottery.
