To be completely honest, I'm very nervous  I don't want the world to end and be sucked into a black hole 
Please tell me that it won't happen, I'm really nervous, and there countdown website to the end of humanity isnt helping

This is cool. I've seen it before, but I haven't read about it before. This is pretty amazing because they take very minute amounts of matter and make it have extreme amounts of power. Talk about a lazer. They said there's an extremely small chance of anything bad happening. there's a .000000002 % chance of that stuff happening according to the article.  Besides if you didn't know about it would you even be worried at all?

yes I have heard about it. they talk about it on Coast to Coast. and most people they interview are not concerned.

This is exciting stuff... we'll be one step closer to achieving a Unification Theory in physics, and if we can do that in our lifetimes it will be one of the greatest achievements in human history.
So, more "power" to ya, CERN!
... and nope, it's not illegal.
