BigFoot |
|
i came across a story today on the net about bigfoot in my area although i have never seen anything that has to do with big foot around here a few ppl say they have seen what they think is bigfoot and ppl have found tracks around here north of town, lol my shelter is built just north of town. but anyway most of us on this forum spend alot of time out in the back country and was wondering if anyone has seen anything that could relate to bigfoot in your area.

Living in Toronto, I have seen a lot that I can't explain, but nothing that exactly fits the description of a sasquatch.
A few years ago, however, I was on a bus from Banff, Alberta to Golden, B.C. with my first wife. Because it was crowded, we didn't get seats together. My wife sat next to an Indian lady who told her she was keeping an eye out the window for sasquatch. She said she was in a car with some friends once when they pulled over to watch a bigfoot making its way across a hill some distance from the highway. She said it's not uncommon for her people to see them, but they don't report them because they want people to respect them and leave them alone.
The chances of seeing any wildlife increases with the amount time you spend in their habitat. Sasquatch are very elusive. It's becoming apparent that they can be living much closer to towns, etc., than we realized. If you are in an area where there might be bigfoot, keep that camera handy. I find it incredible how many people live in areas where sasquatch are reported, but they don't get a photo because it never occurs to them to carry even a cheap disposable film camera.

I was thinking of the kind of unusual human behaviour one sees in a city of a couple of million people........
But more on topic, within the last couple of years I have read of moose turning up as far south as Sarnia and Oshawa. It seems impossible that something as big as a moose could wander from central Ontario as far south as that without being seen/run down/shot, etc. along the way, but they managed it. And just yesterday I read that people have reported seeing a cougar in a small nature preserve an hour's drive east of Toronto. The official government position is that there are no cougars in eastern Canada, but people keep seeing them in Ontario and the maritime provinces. Don't be too sure you know what's in those woods.

Nothing like that Bill has ever been talked about or in the news here in BC.
You should get up to your shelter, hang out, see if you can get some Bigfoot Burgers

>Lol, you would think there would be but i have never read in the paper over many years that i can recall anything about Bigfoot. Its just the people that start that stuff. There is a place/campground called Sasquatch Inn
And the owners there clame they have seen it ??.... its just a gimick to get people to go there.
The only way in hell i would beleave in a " Sasquatch " , Bigfoot , is if i was seeing it for myself.
I have been hiking these mountains here since i was 10 years old & i have never heard, smelled, whatever, anything that would make me think it wasn't a Bear, Moose crashing around.

It's just the same as Lake Champlain's "Champ" and Loch Ness's "Nessie".
If people believe it is real, their eyes will see what they believe, whether it's there or not.
Sorry, Bushy.

There was a guy on TV talking about Champ and he said, "You want to know if Champ is real? Of course he is real! Thousands of people come here because Champ is real! You(talking to the ones who brought the camera) are here because Champ is real! Does Champ exist in a 3-dimensional form at the bottom of Lake Champlain? I am skeptical."
People wonder if Bigfoot is real. Of course he is. Because he is in their minds as real that makes him real to them. Does Bigfoot exist in a 3-dimensional form in the woods? Sorry, but no.

im sure you have all seen the paterson film though right?
that film they have been studying over and over for years since it came out and not one thing in that video they can say is fake. and they showed how you can even see the muscle moving under the fure, and when it turns its head its just like how a gorilla would do it. just to point out a few things they said. i have never seen anything that has to do with bigfoot in real life just what i hear and see on the internet,tv and news but i still think there is something out there out in the bush that we dont know about or understand yet. but that could be just me cuz i like misteries lol
just look at the ogopogo or what ever its called. look how long it took them to finally get it on video and they didnt just get one on video they got 3 of them on video. it was on the news a few years back it was pretty cool.

I really dont think Nessie is that far fetched. The history channel show Deep Sea Detectives had a show about it last night. We know more about space then we do about the bottom of the ocean. Look at all the animals they have found that were thought to be long extinct or fictional creatures. Hell, maybe there is even a cloverfield monster in the ocean somewhere.

I'm like Mulder: I want to believe.
As for Champ, I grew up on Lake Champlain and spent many a hour fishing the waters there, both on shore and out on a boat. I've never seen Champ or any evidence of Champ. Some think it's a big sturgeon or something, for a small lake it's very deep, 500 feet in some spots so yeah, I'm sure there's some big things lurking around down there.
It's a fun thing though, very big where I'm from obviously. The AAA baseball team's mascot is Champ. Good for tourism.

At the time the Patterson film was made, no one was capable of making a monkey suit that realistic.
Before the film became widely known, a still from it was shown to a Russian scientist who was a leading expert in how primates walk. He looked at the body structure of the Sasquatch and described how he believed it would walk. It turned out he described exactly the Sasquatch's gait.
A British tv crew went to the area where the film was shot and made a documentary that they claimed proved the Patterson film was a fake. But every claim they made was in fact false. They said they found a local resident who walked exactly like the bigfoot in the film, but they had no footage of this person. They described how the sasquatch suit could have been made, but that method of making a monkey suit was not dreamt of by Hollywood or anyone else in Patterson's day, Etc.
Dave; Photos of bigfoot are blurry and grainy because bigfoot is blurry and grainy.
