Flash. look what you've started. Yes. everyone is invited. It'll be like those midnight showings of "Rocky Horror Picture Show". We'll all be wearing Survivorman merchandise and saying the dialogue along with Les. Afterwards I'll head to a certain cabin in Alabama to rest up. Laughing

Yeah, I can just see all of us packed into a room saying, "I just heard something big crack....Holy crap!" Shocked

Ahhh....good times. Cool

Wait, what were we talking about? Oh yes, spears. Embarassed

Welp I made another spear, it's a bit better. This weekend my friend and I are kayaking out along the shores of lake erie (one of the great lakes) and we aren't really sure where yet but we're going to pull off into some of the forest around it after a 4-5 hourish kayak trip haha. So I'm bringing the spear and hopefully I can catch something with it (doubtful)
Other than the spear, I'll be bringing my fishing pole, tackle, water filtration bottle, mag stick, tarp, rope, hatchet, multi tool and beer Very Happy haha good weekend eh?
Oh ya and he's bringing a pot and some kraft dinner incase we have to go the 2 nights without catching anything Wink

As far as I know you can, check with your local fish and game, but if I remember correctly, I know a school in Washington...or maybe Oregon, that teaches bow making and the founder is an avid bow hunter.

Correct me if Iam wrong but in my experience with a spear as in an arrow, throwing knife, hawk,, I want the front lil heavier then the rear seems to work much better for me opinions ?

I'd probably say that would be true except for the throwing knife. I think you want the throwing knife perfectly balanced, but I'm not sure either.

Yes, I think weight-forward is usually preferred in projectiles.
