I learn from that show ( and I watch it again last week) is when walking or climping have experienced people with you and check your gear every day.

to have a locater beacon on me if I go skiing

the 1/10/1 principle if you fall through ice

so any show I learn something from is a very good show. Very Happy

Very true. Another thing about small facts here and there is you never think about them until you really need them. Like I was making a shelter and my tarp was blowing away. I was very frusterated and I couldnt figure out how to make it stay on. Soon I realized "Button Rocks" worked perfecly. Never really thought about it before but I remmeber Les doing that.

I used button rocks today actually. Very Happy It was for my kayak kite that didn't go so well. Anyway if I would have cut eyelets I would have ripped the plastic, and the button rocks worked great. Cool

There are so many places I want to go...I'd need to be as rich as Donald Trump to do it all though. Laughing

I liked it. I guess I could relate to it because in wisconsin we get snow and freezing waters. Though I don't think I'll be crossing glaciers or going on any mountains anytime soon. Wink

lol did you notice Muska is from Minnesota? We get snow here too... and about 15,000 freezing lakes Laughing
