7. Utility tarp wrapped in some nylon cord
8. Emergency Blanket
9. Watch with broken compass on it

yes sir, I bought a swedish fire steel over a year ago at canadian tire for 14 bucks. Then they got this new baby, also 14 bucks. It even comes with a piece of fatwood.
What to see the difference even though the price is the same?
Here it is:

Very nice, very nice.
And that bivy sack is definitely worth the weight to carry it. If dark catches you without a shelter, you can crawl into it and stay warm.
Why don't you get that rucksack I suggested?

like your gear. yeah I would take the sleeping thing with you. better to have it and not need it then to need it and not have it. I heard that on a website.

And you can't beat the $25 price tag. BTW people can't zip tie buckles.

Yep that's the one I have. It's the size of a big school backpack. So it's not small at all. You can fit tightly one quart nalgene bottle in each side pouch, and the top gets really wide, and has a draw string. I took the waist strap off so I don't know how well that works. Don't really need it for school. It's made of tough canvas, and the bottom, the inside of the pouches, and underside of the lid are covered with PVC too. I say great value for the price.

> It looks nice, totaly worth the money but way to small for me. Ray has acouple of ruck sacks.
medium & large. I like the large ones if i was to ever get a ruck sack. And a good one for multi day hike are around $ 350 - $ 400. The pack i have is very comfortable and i can jam alot of stuff into it if i need & it still supports the weight well. You can take the pack apart in sections, the ruck sack that is, its really cool. Thats why they are alittle pricey.
