I thought i would post a new thread for people to post pics of other peoples shelters to help give people ideas & help with the lay out of differant shelters. Doesn't matter where in the world they were made as long as they are people made & around the forest Smile

Those are awesome, MASSIVE, but awesome. I am pretty sure those are more permanent living shelters or multiple person shelters due to the size of them

This one's made by Thomas J. Elpel, he's a primitive living writer from Montana. He made a fire trench, put sand over it, and used straw as an insulator, and a tarp on the top.

For an assignment we have to make a vision board. One of the catagories is what is your dream home. Here's mine. Nice Mandan-style earth lodge. Very Happy
