Doesn't seem like as much of a survival episode tonight... more about the horses. And you can tell he's getting frusturated. This episode just wasn't fun to watch for me. Confused

I didn't like it that much either. Probably because I"m not a horse person at all. Confused

Awww....come on. Razz

Les is right. Horses are a lot of work. After going camping a few months back and caring for the horses, I understood it a lot more. I've always had to take care of them at home all the time, but it's different from being out somewhere.

At home things are a little more convenient. Everything is just so, you get the job done, and then go to the house and sit down.

When you're out and about somewhere, the jobs aren't so easy. You have to take the horses to water, or haul it to them. Make sure they have food. In his case, that was putting up an electric fence in the right area. In my case, it's filling hay bags and feed buckets. Brushing them down. Tacking them up. It's a lot to do. When he was doing it, he didn't have much nourishment going back into him. I'm surprised he handled it as well as he did. I was wiped out after doing all that stuff, and I was getting fed very well! Surprised

I have to give him props for this one. He earned some more respect from me. Not that he didn't have it to begin with, but he did impress me a little. Cool

Well i just finished watching it & i liked it alot.
Once again, very differant from all the other seasons Les has done.

I like Horses, ive been out riding on them. Ive always wanted to go do a Back pack trip on Horse.
Indeed they are alot of work, but the joy of the ride i think out weighs that alot. Thats just part of having a horse.
It was great to see him Fly Fish Smile & catch 2. Though his casting needs ALOT of work, Laughing
And when he got frustrated when trying to explane for the camera about gutting the fish and why ? & he got all pissed off, lol
I laughed out loud, all he wanted to do at that moment and time was f***ing eat ! Laughing
He showed his true colors there, i liked that Cool

The whole Horse Back riding out into the mountains is done every day by the hundreds of people.
So i thought it was a good episode. The flashlight fire start was cool. Poking at the dead deers head looking for brains was cool Very Happy Laughing
Les has taken a change to his shows & show making & things he brings but it all rings true as far as how easy it is to get into trouble
while out by your self in the woods/mountains back country etc. Cool

not editing the swearing out made it more true to how it would be out there. When you get hungry you get frustrated; at least i do! I'm not sure where I stand on this season... still kinda partial to season 1...

I liked it and to see his more colorful side was great and with horses wonderful. I like the new season so far. Very Happy horses do scare me though so the chances of me on one is slim to none.

Just thought I'd mention here that at his book signing a couple of nights ago in Toronto, Les said that Season 3 of Survivorman will air in Canada beginning January 12, 2009. Very Happy
