I just got 2 new ones |
|
i have on order 2 new books from amazon that should be here in a day or so.
i got "The Tracker" by tom brown and "The Way Of The Scout" by tom brown
i have read a little preview of the way of the scout online and it was pretty good so far so i think they will be good books. i will keep you posted with a review after each one

I LOVE those books, I am reading his whole series, and those two would have to be my favorite just for enjoyment of the things that he went through with Stalking Wolf and the things he has done. Those two books are what got me into reading all his other ones.

There is still learning in these books, not as much...well not as much for a normal reader, if you understand how Tom teaches, there is a lot more information, but these books mainly describe the history of how he came to be the person he is today and what drove him. Some of the stories are absolutely hilarious. Enjoy

Have you ever tried a store called half priced books? I don't know if they have a store near you or not, if so, you can get great prices! Another place is Barnes and Nobles, they have great clearance sales constantly going.

well i am on chapter 6 of "The Tracker" its a very interesting book so far lots of cool stories tom tells about growing up. there are tips for tracking and right at the start of the book he tells you that its kinda cool.

Yesterday i was in Chapters Book store & seen a paper back book called; Tom Brown JR tracking.
It looks really good. I almost bought it. Im thinking i might go back and grab it ? it was the only one on the shelf.
And i do find myself tracking when i hike more & more

i do the same when i go out for a hike. i love tracking i just wish i new more cuz its a very useful hunting tool. so i am trying to read as much as i can on tracking and then take what i learn from the book and take it to the bush to see how i fair with what i read.
how much was the book dave? mine i think was 9 bucks but i got two of his books and then shipping then it was like $30 lol. its its not that much it cant hurt to get it and give it a go.

I think it was like $ 14.95 worth it really I think im going to pick it up tomorrow.
A good read for sure.
