Ive made 2 tinder pouches, the second one turned out better, lol.
One is for my day pack & one for my 7 day pack. I think im going to make 1 more thats double the size just so i have a good supply of Jute, fatwood, & strips of rubber. Rubber burns hot & lights easy, even if its pouring rain out Cool

I posted in the Tutorials Bill, on my Tinder pouch. Cool
The rubber you can use is an old tires tube from a bike, or truck bed rubber is good also.
Just a small piece, say 4 inches square & half an inch thick, you will get lots of strips. Cool

Ya the rubber things is really cool, mosty for wet/humid conditions. It will burn ever if it is wet so I dont see any flaws in that method. My fav method to use when I dont have tinder is a firestick match (just a big firestick with a match like end) but the rubber would work better if it was raining.

Idea A pouch made of rubber would keep tinder dry. And if necessary, the pouch itself could be burned. Surprised

Notice I said a tinder pouch. If you use up your tinder, then you can use the pouch. Wink
