hey if you were lost in the bush and decided to make a pipe what is out there that you can smoke in it? just thought about that while reading lol

Hmm, good question, lol. It would really depend on your area & your knowledge of plants.
From anything ive read about there is no plants really you could dry and smoke and enjoy.
Other than the odvious, tobacco. That may be something to look up & find out

this is what i found it says it grows mostly in eastern norther america

Ah, good find man. To bad its an eastern weed. Ya, i wounder what the Natives out here smoked.
I shall do alittle hunting myself on local West Coast Indians that lived here and on Victoria Island.
Got to be something out there.

i know lots of natives out here (cree natives) thats pretty much all thats in my little town. ill ask my dads friends wife she seems to know alot of that old stuff

No clue. I've never seen any, I've just remember seeing it in a magazine article.

here you go Dave here is my pipe lol it looks pretty junky but its my first one but it works and thats what matters me and my cousin were smoking cigar tobacco in it lol. the bowl is made from willow and the stem is from alder

Thats awsome man it looks good. Its all about function it works, thats all that matters.
Now if for some far-out reason you had to run to the hills, you now know you can make a pipe that works.
And having small things like a pipe in the Bush is a mental + Good stuff. Now, make another one lol.
Oh, and i found out that the longer the stem is, the cooler the smoke is & more flavourfull.

lol that thing is indeed a clunker but its pretty cool for a first run, I can imagine mine would be much worse lol.
I dont smoke so you wont see me making any pipes anytime soon but I really like to see what you guys can make.

I started smoking when I was ~14 and quit when I was ~19, so I won't be making one of those but how do you hollow out the stem?
