Thats lookin pretty good for a first timer making a scratch Bow Good stuff.
The one thing i would say is make sure you get your tilling right, if the bow limb are weak on one and stiff on the other there is a good chance she will break. What wood did you use ?. Cheers Northern

i broke it haha all that work and it broke the bottom started to fold kinda thing then it broke i dont know why the bow was rather thick im going to make another one out of a diff kind of wood im thinking that willow just wasnt strong enough for a bow like that so i will try a harder wood

P.S. it shot pretty awesome until it broke lol | On the lead edge of the bow, did you cut through any grain? The front of your bow(also known as the back) HAS to be 1 grain the whole way down or it will break practically every time. Also, like was already stated, watch the final tillering, try and make those limbs as even in flexibility as possible, the size of them wont matter as much as long as they have the same flexibility. Shame to hear, goodluck on your next one. Also, when you are done, coat it with an oil.

there are lots of things im going to do different with my next few bows.
when i first get the wood i will skin it out in the bush then leave it sit for a day and let it cure before i start to carve.
i am also going to make one a little thicker than the last one and another one prob around the same thickness just to see how much of a diff it makes. then when im all done i will use some oil if someone tells me what kind to use lol
im just kinda bunk cuz i was hopping to go rabbit hunting with it this weekend lol now instead i have to make another one but i think i will bring my compound with me just incase

That first one looked great, too bad it broke.
You'll get better with practice.
