Hey Tibby nice to see you again long time no see
Well i've never done any desert such survival but I know that you need long sleeve/long pants. Even though its warmer to wear long clothing it keeps in the moisture and dosent dry you up as fast. Also you dont burn to death

I've never been to any desert, but AzArcher probably could tell you a thing or two.

Hey Tibby, Looooong time no hear
Well ive never even seen a desert in person but have read stuff about it and how to deal with it.
I would say make sure you have a wide brimed hat, full sleave shirt, and at least a 6x8 tarp if you can't find cover from the sun. And carry as MUCH water as possible. and of course a Multi-tool and fixed blade.

make sure to bring a good bandanna to soak in water and put around your neck (corrated arteries), it'll make you feel cooler because the blood will cool down and circulated around your body, a good trick when your feeling really hot. A good snake bite kit would be a good thing to bring as well as a good pair of shoes/boots (im not sure what kind though, desert's aren't exactly in my bckyard ) DDave, you know what Im talking about
