--- Lean-to Shelter --- |
|
A lean to is best for warmer areas. Since it dosent keep much heat in, it isnt the best choice in winter.
However it is perfect for keeping yourself out of the rain, or if you just want to make a long fire.
What you want to do is stick two forks in the ground, and reinforce them so they dont tip over once your shelter is up.
Next get a strong pole you can lay accross from one pole to the other.
Then just lean longer poles from the top to the ground.
Make the sides how you want, it really dosent matter.
Then just throw leaves, branches, spruce, pine etc. Whatever you can find.
I didnt add anything just so you could see the constuction of it.

Hey Troop. I was out on a local hike and found a great area to make one of these.
Got all the right material. And about 100 yards farther into the bush i can get spruce boughs for the roof.
