hey does anyone know a good way to make a bowl, im working on one right now but its not going to well i dont think.

You may investigate a curved blade sometimes called a crooked knife, it is easier to carve the rounded shapes.

hey you are supposed to burn it to right like kinda start a little fire on the wood and then scrape it out then do it again and again or am i wrong?

Burn it yes, start a fire no. Flame is a bad thing when coal burning. The idea is to keep the coals burning, and then scrape out the char they create. Flame can cause cracking and various other problems.

Hey Northern here are some examples of hook knifes. Since you live in Canada, Lee Valley sells these.
Ive been meaning to get the one on the top of the pic for some time. Ive been wanting to carve out a spoon Cool &
small drinking cup.

The bottom two resemble the hoof knife used by farriers. Surprised

um inside lol it was filled with snow so i dumped most of it out and thats just the snow/ice that froze inside while i was gone. and there are shavings of fat wood in there
