Ya i seen the leatherman, it looks good. I think a fixed blad is very important to have while in the bush.
Max & Doug i want to see you guys with fixed knifes by July of this year ! Laughing Cheers.

I've got sort of an obscure mediocre one. It looks really cool, but it ain't that sharp and the handle is crappy rubbery plastic. Still... it looks really cool.

Any suggestions on brands for a good reliable fixed blade? What's the Leatherman of fixed blades?

I heard greatthinga about the coldsteel SRK, however i'm still looking to get te leatherman knife, once it goes on sale, its 60 bucks right now, which is too much.

Once a sale comes i'm going for it.

I have an SRK it is really nice. The edge it comes with almost seems polished it is so sharp and finely ground. I'll get pic up for you guys later. Very Happy

These are my main users right now. Homemade antler handled knife, small homemade neck knife, and a Schrade Oldtimer.

Here's the pics of my SRK for ya. Did you hear that the factory that makes the Carbon V steel shut down, so they are making the SRK out of AUS 8A, and all the other knifes out of the other steels they make.
