Water bottle holder/insulator |
|
I made this so I can carry my water easily and slow it from freezing in winter
Cut pieces of foam camping mat ($2 at the dollar store) pic 1, pic 2
Glue the bottom on and glue the side shut. pic 1, pic 2, pic 3
Cut some nylon. pic 1, pic 2
Glue the nylon onto the bottom. pic 1, pic 2, pic 3, pic 4, pic 5
Sew the side. pic 1, pic 2, pic 3
Remove the side and glue around the bottom then slide about an inch of the nylon side on (inside out). pic 1, pic 2
Roll the nylon over it's self and holder. pic 1, pic 2
Glue the inside edge and fold in the nylon. pic 1, pic 2
Sew on a nylon strap for a handle and make two nylon loops (make it big enough for my winter mits). pic 1, pic 2, pic 3
Add some 550 cord and your done
