> The only one i know of is the Japanese Honeysuckle.
And ONLY the blooms should be eaten.
NOT ! the berries !, they are extremely poisonous !
Always ! research any ! plant, shrub, flower etc that you think ? may be edible.

I knew you could have the nectar, but I wasn't sure about the rest of the plant.
Cheers.

Note the hairy stem & heart shaped leaves. In May, the prinitive flower emerges. Found on rich soil in moist woods.

- Pharmeceutical Uses: Root was used to treat colds & cough, antiseptic & tonic.

Shortly after moving in, I thought I would take a walk and get to know the national park across the street. I found a Highbush Cranberry just like the one I used to pic off of when I was a kid. Well, I grabbed several berries and tossed them into my mouth... Blehck! they were disgusting! I later found out that there is an American Highbush Cranberry (yummy) and a European Highbush Cranberry (or assberry, as I call it)... I now know how to tell them apart WITHOUT performing the taste test.

And I believe I have tasted that one once before myself, although I don't remember where.

If you think you have a morel, cut it open lengthwise. I don't think any of the look-alikes (and they really don't look that close anyway) are hollow. I've found a fairly big one of those growing in a local boy scout camp...that was a strange find....
