Just bought my new cool Real Tree Camo Balaclava for the winter. Thinsulate, toasty warm.

Im glad I live in Florida. I couldn't stand it being that cold and having to wear one of those things.

Cool balaclava Dave I too have a Balaclava, they are great to have on your face when it gets really cold, mine is a Bula Balaclava.

I've got one and I don't live that far from you. 100% pure silk, black. It's part of the whole thermal underwear ensemble. If I wore only this get up, I'd look like a fat ninja walking through the woods.
It helps on those rare Florida days when the temperature dips into the 20's.

I just use a beenie, and a bandana. But after getting made fun of by my friends, I think I might go for one of those as well.

I have a black synthetic fleece balaclava..don't know the brand...it doesn't appear to have one, but I bought it at Campmor (I think....) a few years back. It's really a great piece of gear to have and I use it every winter.

In my area, there's a word for someone wearing a balaclava: "suspect".
If I get up north in the winter, though, I'll consider one.

You can call me anything you want to, but the fact of the matter is I'll be warmer than you.
