i agree you know it is inevitable that you forget something everytime you go out no matter what.went out fly fishing for the first time on mon and was sure i remembered everything until i got out there and found out that i forgot my sweater.good thing it was 18 to 22 outside, but still i couldnt believe that i forgot it.i even set it by the door right beside my pack when i was getting ready

^ I as well have all my stuff; Pack, fly vest, hat, extra socks & shoes ready sitting at the door the night before.
Then theres the morning " check " water, munches for the day & phone is fully charged.
And i let 2 people know i will be on the River all day fishing, cause it can be a deadly place.
Every year at least 1 or 2 people die on the Vedder River, mostly kids / teens on summer break.
Rarely " Fishermen " but it does happen.

Since I'm at my new base I got issued some really cool stuff. I got a leatherman wave (black), surefire 6P, camelbak, a nice aluminum frame backpack, and a really nice sleeping bag. The sleeping bag is a two layered bag, and comes with a bivy sack, and a smaller bag for the warmer weather bag. About $300. Razz
