I rated it an 8. It was definately a good episode and I like the Canadian Forest a lot. But there were some mistakes like the Dead fall and not wearing his rain pants when it was raining that took away from it

I rated this a 10, which may sound high but here are soem reasons
1 - Its the first episode!
2 - He risked hypothermia falling in the water
3 - he walked out in not 7 or less days but rather 8
4 - he didnt freak out and quit he kept going
5 - boreal is my like back yard, I love episodes in Canada
6 - there where a lot of "funny" parts in it

I picked 10 because of the reasons that Trooper said, I really enjoyed it a lot.

One of my favorite episodes!
This episode makes me want to go and live in the Boreal forest!
So I gave it a 10! I just wish he would have built a bigger better shelter but there is only so much you can do in 1 day, and if you build a shelter that takes 3 days your missing out on shelter for 2 so it's not enough to knock it down any.

Agreed! The point in the episode where he makes fire with a bow drill, finally gets it going then discovers he has no firewood had me laughing my ass off the first time i saw it.
10/10

Don't apologize for your opinion! He did complain a lot...but that's one of the things I like about the show. Listening to him gripe and how sometimes towards the end you can just really tell he's so done with filming everything.

Gave it a 9 too. I guess I love when he does things in environments similar to mine.

Yeah, what's weird is I've seen this one dozens of times, yet I still learn something new everytime.
Good 'ol Les.
