hey I know there are some good technical guys here. I love the VLC player! However I dont know how to make it my default video player. Where can I modify the settings?

Just right click on an AVI. file, go to "Open With >" then "Choose a program...", click once on VLC player (to high light it) then check the box that says "Always use the selected program to open this kind of file" and the click "OK"
